Grade School

Nagpur’s Waldorf Inspired School is offering Nursery and Kindergarten programs since 2020 for the group of children from two years to six years. NWIS has grown to a Grade School in 2022 with aims to introduce Waldorf Education in Nagpur for the first time till the seventh grade.

The Nursery and Kindergarten are offered at Ramdaspeth, and Grade One (Standard I) onwards are offered at our Hajari Pahad Katol Road Campus. The Waldorf children will then move to our ICSE School at Katol Road from Standard VIII to complete their high school. Thus it is an integrated program till the end of High School.

Waldorf School has a philosophy which cultivates the child's deep, inborn natural attitude, belief and trust in and basic reverence for the world as an interesting and good place to live in.

The Art of Thinking, Feeling, and Doing

A unique methodology that manifests through the mix of Academics, Arts, and Practical skills. When most of the schools focus just on the academics and intellectual side of it, Waldorf believes in a threefold learning process- Engaging Head, Heart, and Hands.

Beyond the classroom

At NWIS, education is not measured by competition or term end marks but is viewed as preparation for the lifelong journey. The approach responds to a child's natural interest in the world and a sense of wonder through years of exploration, invention and discovery. This enables the Waldorf child to forge deeper relationships in life and to what we refer to as social sculpting.
